Safety Guidelines
General Safety Tips
- Protect Your Personal Information: Do not share sensitive personal information like bank account details, credit card numbers, or OTPs with anyone.
- Beware of Unrealistic Offers: If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Be cautious of listings with unusually low prices or sellers who ask for advance payment.
- Use the Report Feature: If you come across a suspicious listing or user, use the "Report" feature to notify our moderation team immediately.
Meeting Buyers/Sellers or Employers
- Meet in Public Places: Always arrange to meet in a safe, well-lit public location, especially for the first time.
- Inform Someone: Let a friend or family member know where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Verify the Item/Property: Always inspect the item, property, or vehicle thoroughly before making any payment. For jobs, verify the company's existence and office location.
Financial Safety
- No Advance Payments: Never pay an advance fee or "token money" for a product, property, or job application. Scammers often use this tactic.
- Use Secure Payment Methods: When making a payment, prefer cash on delivery or other secure methods. Avoid direct bank transfers to unknown individuals.
- Jobs Don't Cost Money: Legitimate employers will never ask you to pay money for a job application, interview, or training.
